<div itemprop="description">Thomas Jacomb, beloved son of Barbara and Murray Jacomb, passed away on Sunday January 17, 2016. Born with a congenital heart condition, Tommy was not expected to live past the age of two. To the amazement of the medical community and with the encouragement from his devoted mother, extraordinary care from Dr. DeSa, superb care at his group home and support from the church, Tommy lived well into his 36th year. Tommy loved spending time with his family, going to Tim&rsquo;s, Christmas and special occasions at Auntie Ann&rsquo;s, bowling and other community activities with residence family, watching TV as well as anything &ldquo;Toronto Maple Leafs&rdquo;. He often ended these days by enthusiastically proclaiming &ldquo;I&rsquo;m happy!&rdquo; Tommy will be remembered as a testament to the human spirit by his parents Barbara and Murray Jacomb, sister Crystal, aunt Ann (Dorothy) (Bill), uncle Dave (Shirley), aunt Bonnie (Gordy), uncle Clyde (Joanne), uncle Lyle (Anne) and uncle Loyde as well as all their families. Also mourning his loss is his extended family at his residence and friend Suzie. Tommy was predeceased by his infant brother David, Grandparents Sophia and Alvin Jacomb and Jean and Herman Roberts. Funeral services will take place on Saturday January 23, 2016 at Bethlehem Christian Reformed Church on 75 Walkover St. at 11:00 a.m. Donations to Community Living Thunder Bay or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.</div>
