<div itemprop="description"><br>We sadly announce the passing of Tammy Louise Poole, age 46, at St. Joseph’s Hospice on August 12, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 11, 1969 in Thunder Bay, Ontario Tammy was raised in the Slate River Valley. She attended Slate River Public School and graduated from Northwood High School. Despite life’s struggles Tammy had a truly loving and generous nature. Tammy adored her children, her beloved grandson Aiden and Cuddles her cat. Tammy is survived by her parents Jim and Elva Poole (Lunn), children Jonathon (Miranda), Brandon (Melissa), Kristi-Ann (Jesse) and Kassi, sister Lisa Poole (Tom Parsons), brother Rick (Carri), grandson Aiden, her niece, nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by her grandparents Alfred and Louise Poole, Bedford and Florence Lunn, aunts, uncles and cousins. We are truly grateful to her friends who sat by her side with us; nurse Peter at Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, Dr. Anthes, Dr. Faghi, Dr. Miller, Dr. Miguay, Dr. Davis, Amy Purdy, the nursing staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice and Pastors Gary and Melody Macsemchuk of Grace Place for their care and support of Tammy and us. Funeral services to be held Wednesday, August 17 2016 at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 South Syndicate Avenue at 11 a.m. Visitation one hour prior at 10 a.m. for family and friends. Private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to The Canadian Cancer Society, St. Joseph’s Hospice or Grace Place in Tammy’s memory. <br></div>
