<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness, the family of Rosalie Baxendale from Murillo, Ontario, announces her sudden passing on Friday, January 13, 2017. <br> <br>Rosalie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Lorne Baxendale, her daughter Christine (Doug) Morrill and her two grandsons, Lachlan and Brayden Morrill. <br> <br>Rosalie was born on March 28, 1944 in Slate River, Ontario. She grew up in Murillo where she met the love of her life, Lorne Baxendale. They married on April 14, 1967. Rosalie worked for Ontario Hydro until her retirement in 1993. She cherished the many close friendships she made while working there. Upon retirement, Rosalie loved golfing, sewing, baking, gardening, travelling and her weekly trips to her camp on Shebandowan Lake. When Rosalie became a grandmother, she adored spending time with her grandsons, Lachlan and Brayden Morrill. <br> <br>Rosalie is survived by her husband Lorne Baxendale; daughter Christine (Doug) Morrill; grandsons Lachlan and Brayden Morrill; sisters Lillian Thivierge and Violet (Erwyn) Bruce; as well as, many nieces, nephews, and a number of other relatives and close friends. <br> <br>The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Oliver Paipoonge First Response Team and the Paramedics who rushed to Rosalie’s side. They would also like to extend their thanks to all the Doctors and nurses in the Emergency Department at The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for their dedicated care and compassion. <br> <br>As per Rosalie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A service for Rosalie will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Murillo Hall. <br> <br>Should friends so desire, donations can be made in memory of Rosalie to St. James Anglican Church in Murillo or to a charity of their choice. <br> <br></div>
