<div itemprop="description">Mr. Robert Leslie Irwin passed away peacefully at Grandview Lodge on Friday, February 14th, 2014. Born on April 18, 1930 Robert was the only child of Leslie and Verna Irwin. <br /><br /><br /><br />He was a longtime member of St. Thomas Anglican Church. He was owner/manager of Irwin Concrete and spent 47 years in the concrete business from 1951 to 1997. Robert was an avid boater, loved playing the harmonica, and a member of the Power Suadron, Yacht Club and Mission to Seafarers. He sponsored many youth sports teams and Anglican youth camps. He also served as president of several local construction companies. <br /><br /><br /><br />Robert will be lovingly remembered by his family; wife Margaret (Ellard), his children; Leslie (Doug), Doug (Chris), Tom (Deanne), Robin (Robin), Terri (Blane), his stepchildren; Susan (Jerry) Nancy (late Glen) Wanda (William), Rodney (Debbie) and Gregory (Denette). Cherished grandfather of sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. <br /><br /><br /><br />The funeral service for Mr. Irwin will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 11:00 am in St. Thomas Anglican Church. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday from 6 &ndash; 8 pm at Jenkens Funeral Home. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery.<br /><br /><br /><br />Memoiral donations to St. Thomas Anglican Church of the Mission to Seafarers or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.<br /><br /></div>
