In his younger years he enjoyed sports, bowling and playing baseball. Music was always his passion and he played in a band that preformed in Red Rock and many of the legions in Thunder Bay. Bob worked for Provincial Papers until his retirement in 1997. In his later years Bob loved to watch his favourite football team, the Minnesota Vikings and his favourite hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also loved to watch NASCAR racing and was a virtual racer himself. One of Bob’s favourite past-times was his Trans Am. He also enjoyed listening to country music and The King, Elvis Presley. He had a great sense of humour and was a very generous man. Bob was predeceased by his parents Eva and John Halabisky, his brother William, his sister-in-law Lorraine and his brother Allen. Bob is survived by many cousins across Canada and will be sadly missed by his step-niece Paulette Rioux.

A Memorial Service for Bob will take place on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 South Syndicate Avenue, with interment to follow at St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
