<div itemprop="description"><br>It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ralph Herbert Veinot, aged 82, on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at TBRHSC. <br> <br>Ralph was born September 22, 1934 in Wolfville, N.S. He grew up in the small village of Auburn, N.S. and attended St. Mary’s School. <br> <br>He joined the R.C.A.F. in 1952 and served until 1975 at which time the family moved to Thunder Bay. He was then employed at Confederation College in the Aircraft Maintenance Program until 1999. <br><br>In 1954 he met the love of his life Linda Forrester and they were married on June 30, 1956 and together they had two children, Daniel and Karen. <br> <br>Ralph loved fishing, camping, gardening and travelling, where he visited many countries around the world. <br> <br>He was predeceased by his father Lester Veinot. He will be greatly missed by his wife Linda; son Daniel and daughter Karen; grandchildren Danny (Christina), Darcy, David (Melissa), Deanna (Tyler); two great grandchildren Jacob and Cooper; two brothers Stanley and Roy (Noreen) and many other relatives. <br> <br>A big thank you to Dr. R.C. Allison for the wonderful care he provided Ralph for many years. A special thanks to C.C.A.C., the Manor House Adult Day Program, and the nurses and doctors of 2C and 3A at the TBRHSC for their excellent care over the past month. <br> <br>Cremation has taken place and funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 808 Ridgeway Street, with Archdeacon Deborah Kraft officiating. Interment to follow at a later date in Sunset Memorial Gardens. <br> <br>Family flowers only. Should friends desire, donations may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br></div>
