It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret (Madge) Edwards at Pioneer Ridge on Monday, April 13, 2015 with family at her side. After a brave battle with Alzheimer's, she left us with the quiet grace with which she lived. Margaret was born June 14, 1929 in O'Conner Twsp., Ontario to parents Margaret and William Taylor.

She spent her life doing what she liked best, raising her children and spending many happy hours with her grandchildren. When her children were older she worked for The City of Thunder Bay in the Parks and Recreation Department helping with registration for city programs.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Jack Edwards, who will deeply miss his "Little Lady", as well as her son Ron Edwards (Bev); daughters Gail Favot (Enos) and Sherry Devereaux (Lynn). She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren whom she adored, Krista (Chris), Kurtis (Lindsay) of Calgary, Jennifer (Aaron), Kim (Keith) and Shara of Thunder Bay and her two precious great grandsons Hudson and Ronan of Calgary. Also survived by her brother William Taylor (Angie) of Holly Hill, Florida and numerous other relatives. She was predeceased by her parents Margaret and William, a sister Christina in infancy and a granddaughter in infancy.

A sincere thank you goes out to the caring staff of Pioneer Ridge for being so kind and caring to Madge. We appreciate all that you did for her.

Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held at Jenkens Funeral Home on Saturday, April 18 at 11:00 a.m. with internment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Madge was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. We will forever miss her.
