<div itemprop="description">John Hermanson, December 11 1957 to September 12 2016. He attended Hillcrest High School, and in 1980 graduated from George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology. John worked at Great West Timber as a lumber grader. His current job was driving transports for Courtesy Freight. He had three beautiful children with his first wife, Sylvie. In 2003 he married the love of his life, Marsha Collin. Together, they blended a new family with Marsha’s two daughters. He loved spending time with his family and friends in the outdoors, especially at the camp at Whitefish Lake. He was renowned for his sense of humour and the hilarious stories he loved to share with everyone. John was predeceased by his parents, Mildred and Kaarlo Hermanson, brother-in-law Real Parent, sister-in-law Patty Malone, and nephew Graham Oughton. John will be forever missed by his wife, Marsha, children Amy, Stefan, Francis (Stephannie), Shray (Barry), and Ashley (Mark), granddaughters Zea and Makayla. He also leaves behind his siblings, Sharon (Graham), Bernice, Carol (Bob), his in-laws Jo-Ann (Lee) and Wayne, and their families. His faithful fur and fin family, Copper, Kash, Jackson, Lulu, and Donald the fish will miss his treats and pats. Visitation will be held Friday September 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 S. Syndicate Avenue. Funeral service will be at Jenkens on Saturday September 17 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a reception. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time starting at noon. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke, Crohn’s and Colitis, or the Humane Society. <br> <br> <br>Rest in peace, John. <br> <br></div>
