<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Mike Amodeo on Monday, November 10, 2014. Mike was born in Dryden, Ontario to Brenda and Joseph Amodeo where he lived as a child. Mike moved to Thunder Bay with his family in 1972 where they lived on Brodie Street in Fort William. He attended Drew Street, McKellar and Selkirk High schools, during which time he made many long lasting friendships. Mike held various jobs but his real passion was owning and operating his own businesses ProCare Distribution and CleanPro Services with Debbie. <br /><br /><br />Mike lived life to the fullest. He was an avid reader, liked cooking, entertaining and took great pleasure in feeding people. Mike also enjoyed movies, camping, bonfires, but mostly spending time with family and friends. <br /><br /><br />He met his lifelong companion Debbie Marsh, spending 31 years together and raising two boys Dennis and Matthew. Sadly he was predeceased by his wife Debbie Marsh on May 14th, 2012. Mike sadly leaves behind his two sons: Dennis and Matthew; his mother Brenda; brothers: Don, Morley (Tammy), Rob (Lisa), Dale and sister Bernice (Ron). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, business associates and the staff at ProCare and CleanPro Services.<br /><br /><br />Cremation has taken place and a Come and Go Reception in memory of Mike Amodeo will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 South Syndicate Ave. Interment will take place at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, St. Joseph&rsquo; Hospice Unit, Cancer Care at TBRHSC or the War Amps Society.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /> <br /><br /> <br /><br /><br /><br /></div>
