<div itemprop="description"><br /><br /><br /><br />It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Albert Roderick Taylor on September 12, 2015. He died peacefully at home in Thunder Bay at the age of 55. Donald was born on August 5, 1960. Survived by his beloved companion Gary Walsh; siblings Theresa (Joseph), Melvin, Brian (Joyce), Darlene and Rene Charles (Irene). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Betsy, Vivian, Jessica, Melvina, Mark, Real, Roseanna, Tyrone, Larry, Jaime-Lynn, Victor and Christopher and also great nieces and nephews Tyler, Taylr, Betresa, Adeline, Allen, Dustin, Creanne, Jacob, Ezra, Cree, Santana, Xavier, Lillianna, Laryn, Kearra, Madeline, Kloe, Gavin, Regan, Aiden, Mya, William and Carter. He was predeceased by his parents David and Lucille Taylor.<br /><br /><br /><br />Donald's family descents were from Moose Factory, Fort Severn, Round Lake and Nagagamisis Lake. Donald was born and raised in Hornepayne ON and was a residential school survivor. Donald was an artist who loved to paint, and enjoyed singing karaoke.<br /><br /><br /><br />A Come and Go Reception will take place on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 2 - 5 pm at Jenkens Funeral Home, 226 S. Syndicate Avenue. Interment will take place at a later date where he will be laid to rest with his parents. We would like to thank the family and friends who have supported us during this time and also special thanks to the staff of the Cancer Care Unit at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre along with the staff at Community Care Access Centre.<br /><br /></div>
